Dead Or Alive 5 Update Promises Swimsuits; Island
Dead or Alive 5's 1.03 update is now live for PS3 players and is coming in the future for Xbox 360 fighters, and it features new gameplay tweaks, Zack Island, and swimsuit DLC packs.
The update (not available for Xbox 360 players until January 29) features:
General Updates
- Combat balancing and new fighting moves
- Online gameplay tweaking
- Updated content and movie upload functions

Zack Island
- Slip zones in the sea water that make fighters more vulnerable to lower-body attacks
- New moves like Bayman's Death Punisher
- Coconuts that fall from trees when hit during battle
Swimsuit DLC Packs ($4.99 a pack/400 MP or in a bundle for $12.99/1040 MP)
- Hotties Swimwear Pack 1 features new swimsuits for Kasumi, Kokoro, Helena, and Sarah
- Pack 2 features swimwear for Hitomi, Leifang, Mila, and Pai
- Pack 3 features swimming outfits for Ayane, Christie, Tina, and Lisa
