Temple Run 2 Hits 20 Million Downloads In Four Days

Imangi Studios has announced that its game Temple Run 2 has been downloaded more than 20 million times since the endless runner was released four days ago.

During that period, the game has been played more than 210 million times. Imangi says if those sessions were combined into one big chunk, it would span more than 1,775 years. Egad.

The game is available on iOS devices, with the Android version set to release next week.

    God.... 20 million downloads for this? Imagine if those 20 million downloads went for the best game the video game art form has produced (I'll let that game be decided by readers) Our favorite hobby would skyrocket to unimaginable heights.

    impressive non the least and i bet it didn't cost millions to make neither...hope developers are looking at this because these $60 games are ridiculous, and if the next-gen systems come out, they are going to be more than $60...besides God of War Ascension, no new games for me...i'll wait for the $20-30 bin sale...

    I'm enjoying it, i especially like the more diverse enviroments(or at least for the first 100 runs).

    I sadly am one of these players of the game. It is a crap game, but so simple, addicting and free. You just can't resist it, despite how terrible it may be.

    That is amazing, I loved this game for the first hour I got to play, but my IPod is dead and I need to get a new charger. I will be there shortly!

    Easily the best free game I've ever played.  The objectives and power ups make this one that much better than the original TR.
