The lights are on
Daisuke “Pixel” Amaya is best known for creating the indie game Cave Story, but Amaya is a prolific designer with many other projects and two of his other games are making their way to 3DS.
Ikachan puts players in the role of a silent squid as it makes it through an underwater cave in order to escape. Guxt is a vertical scrolling shooter. Nicalis, which brought Cave Story to the Wii and the DS, is bringing both games to the 3DS eShop before April of this year. Ikachan is set for release on January 31, while Guxt's release date is still unclear.

why are all of these games coming to the 3DS? my wallet just can't keep up!
Now i seriously need a 3ds!!!
I didn't much like Ikachan
Sounds neat!
Nicalis, I'm still waiting for Yagatarasu(?). I think that's the name of it. One of the last issues of Nintendo Power showed off this GORGEOUS 2D fighting game from ex-SNK members, and said you guys were localizing it and planned to release it on 3DS eShop soon. Haven't heard anything about it from anywhere else though. I hope it's still coming out...
That's good news. I might buy these games, but, before I do, i'd like to read some reviews on them. I really don't know what they're about or if they're good games. If they're made by the people who created Cave Story, then they must be good!
