Zeboyd Games Teases Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 4

The fourth and final episode of Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness series is coming soon, and Zeboyd Games is almost ready to start talking about it.

Developer Zeboyd Games is promising a full reveal soon, but in the meantime it has offered the teaser screenshot above on its website.

The first two episodes of Penny Arcades RPG series were developed by Hothead games, and the last two are being created by Zeboyd Games. Zeboyd Games' versions adopt a classic 16-bit RPG style, and it works well with the series. Head here to read our review of episode 3.

  • Um, shouldn't the second to last sentence read "Zeboyd's versions adopt a classic 16-bit RPG style, and it works well with the series," and not Hothead?

At any rate I want this game now. Wasn't there supposed to be another DLC expansion for 3?
  • I've been meaning to play these. My only problem is that the first two episodes are so overpriced compared to the third one, and I like the art style of the third one better, so I feel like I'm paying extra for an inferior game. I'll break down and get them eventually.
  • Can anyone recommend whether or not these games are worth playing? If you could also explain why, that would be greatly appreciated.
  • Finally, I love me some Penny Arcade! I'm still actually finishing 3 though so they can take their time.

  • Huh, the first two aren't 16-bit? Just lost a lot of interest in this series.
  • I want it. NOW! Zeboyd makes awesome JRPG style games.

  • Awesome.

  • I really need to get a move on and play these!

  • Are these game actual 8-bit RPG's? If so I definitely need to play them, I miss 8-bit RPG's.
