We first revealed Aliens: Colonial Marines in Game Informer Magazine back in February of 2008. It's been a long road, but the game is finally done.

Gearbox recently put up a blog post talking about how the game has finally gone gold. "All parties have examined the release candidate and signed off on the code as final and suitable for manufacturing, after which the game will be shipped to retail and propped to digital networks in time for launch on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 come February 12, 2013!"

In anticipation for the games release next month, Gearbox recommends that you check out the game's latest trailer. We'll do the same.

I'll definitely pick up the Wii U version when it comes out, but I might wait a little but afterwards-the coming storm of games has me set back financially, as well as time wise.

I do remember that cover because I was sitting at the doctors office waiting to see my baby's gender and was reading the aliens GI that day.

My second Wii U game, after Super Mario. Still playing Last Story (yeah I'm slow) and Kirby 20th Anniversary with the boy. I'm more a fan of Aliens than fps's mind ya. Hoping its good.

Excited to see how this game turns out. I've never really seen the alien movies but this game interest me for some reason maybe because of gearbox.

There is no other game coming out in Q1 that I want to be good more than Aliens Colonial Marines. I'm getting Rayman Legends, Sim City, and Fire Emblem but I know those games will be good. I'm not so sure about Aliens but I really really hope so. This game could shine on the Wii-U gamepad.
