The lights are on
A writer has been assigned to adapt the Assassin's Creed franchise to the screen, with more vacancies still to be filled.
The Hollywood Reporter says that playwright and up-and-coming writer Michael Lesslie will pen the movie, which will star Micheal Fassbender.
Ubisoft and New Regency are still looking for a director and more producers.
Email the author Matthew Kato, or follow on Twitter, and Game Informer.
Really hoping it turns out alright.
Hope it's good
this means that we are going to see an AC movie.
I feel sincerely sorry for all AC fans.
I think this is going to be a decent movie.
Maybe this guy won't be so conceited by Hollywood bs. Probably a good thing actually, an artistic, emotional and dramatic touch are very much needed for this adaptation, so a playwright would probably be perfect for that. As long as there are some good producers, decent actors and a director who is not an idiot, this could turn out pretty good. Fingers crossed, (probably won't happen anyways).
They better not *** it up or they are going to regret it.
oooh~ hope it doesn't go bad!
If Michael Fassbender is on board for AC, I'd most likely be up for seeing it. Video game to film adaptations leave me pretty weary.
And we will be seeing this movie in 2015-2016 aproximatelly
Please, please, please be good.
