UK's Dead Island Riptide Special Edition Is The Worst
Deep Silver revealed details on Dead Island Riptide's Rigor Mortis Edition last week, and now they're showing what gamers in the UK can expect from their special Zombie Bait Edition. North America gets a suitcase and bobblehead, while players across the pond can look forward to getting a buxom, bloodied torso figurine.
"Dead Island Riptide is one of the most anticipated releases of the year and is set to build on the original's reputation for OTT action, dark humour and brutal zombie bashing," says Deep Silver sales and marketing director Paul Nicholls. "We wanted to provide a unique collector's edition that was utterly 'Dead Island' and would make a striking conversation piece on any discerning zombie gamer's mantel."
Here's a prediction on how that conversation might go: "What the hell is wrong with you?"
It's no surprise that something like this won't be hitting our shores. We apparently were too sensitive to see a hanging body in the first game's logo.
