Gas Powered Games Announces Wildman
Developer Gas Powered Games and game designer Chris Taylor have announced their next project, and they plan on using Kickstarter to make it a reality. Wildman will be a new action RPG from the developer of Dungeon Siege, Supreme Commander, and Demigod.
A good deal of work on Wildman appears to be done at this point, with plenty of concept art, video, and information on its official Kickstarter page. The team is turning to Kickstarter in an effort to make the game bigger, support more languages, and release mod-friendly tools.
According to the Kickstarter page, Wildman is designed to be a mix of action RPG and RTS, two genres that Gas Powered Games are well familiar with. It boasts advanced physics and destructible environment, as well as the ability to steal technology from opposing armies and use it against them in later battles.
As with many Kickstarter projects, a wide variety of rewards are available for backers, with packages ranging from $20 to $10,000. The project has 32 days to reach its funding goal of $1,100,000. If you're a fan of the team's previous work, head on over to the Kickstarter and help them out!
