New 3DS Bundle To Launch Alongside Fire Emblem: Awakening

Fire Emblem: Awakening is the next title in the turn-based series, and it's set to release on February 4th. It won't be the only new product Nintendo is shipping to stores on that day, however, as a new 3DS bundle will come with the game pre-installed.

Previously rumored, this $199.99 package is the latest in a string of nice 3DS bundles. Last fall, Nintendo offered a couple different 3DS bundles with Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 pre-installed. If you're a fan of the Fire Emblem series and haven't yet bit the bullet on the 3DS, this might be a great entry point.

Every time I see news about it, it just makes me want the new Fire Emblem even more.

Edit: Whoa, $200 for a normal 3DS. I got my XL for $200 pre-packed with Mario Kart.

I'm sure I will sound like a gibbering idiot by asking this, but what is Fire Emblem? Is it a tactical RPG like FF Tactics or a turn based RPG or an action title?

Whoa, that is a cool design. I'd be more interested if 1. i didn't already have a 3DS and 2. i was better at Fire Emblem. Seriously, i bought Shadow Dragon to try it out, and man, do i suck! Nearly everyone on my team died within the first 5 or 6 missions. Oh well....

Guys, I need your help. Should I get a 3DS or a 3DSXL? I don't know which to get. What advantages does the XL have over the other one. I want to get a 3DS , I think I'll wait for a Pokemon bundle.
