The lights are on
We had previously learned that Capcom planned on updating Street Fighter X Mega Man in January, but the publisher has confirmed the exact date. The update will arrive this Friday, and will address a variety of issues.
Most notable is the inclusion of the grid-based passwords first introduced in Mega Man 2. The update also adds a screenshot function, makes M. Bison a bit stronger, improves controller support, and fixes "various other bugs."
Look for the update to be applied around 8pm Eastern over at Capcom's Mega Man page.

Good stuff. The lack of a password system has kept me from playing this all the way through. Now I'll finally get around to playing the whole thing.
Very nice, the first release was alright but needed work. This ought to be good.
Yusss... :3
Capcom is doing it? Without us paying for it?
Sweet. Never thought that would happen, even on a free game.
Still haven't played this. Slacking.
Neato.
cool
Nice! I can't wait to see this update! Street Fighter X Mega Man is already an EPIC game and now it's going to get even better!
Awesome! The password system will help me play through the game's entirety more than once.
I would very much enjoy seeing a full run-through of this, as you guys did with Abobo's Big Adventure.
wow. that is some good updates!
