Far Cry 3 DLC Coming Out Of Jungle On PS3

Back in December, Ubisoft announced that the PS3 version of Far Cry 3 would be getting exclusive DLC called High Tides, and now an exact date has been assigned to the content's released.

According to the PlayStation Blogcast, High Tides will come out on January 15 on the console, and it contains two chapters (Jailbreak and Redemption) that serve as an epilogue for the game's co-op story content.

The chapters will feature new missions that multiplayer developer Massive says will contain tougher fights and more explosive moments.

    ...you know, it actually does bug me when story-specific DLC gets exclusively locked off from people, even if I own the platform that this DLC Is for.

    Is this going to be free dlc? If not I'm not that interested in more co-op since the original missions were subpar. I was more so hoping some single player missions would be added, after having 100% of it done & а platinum trophy there isn't much to do on the map.

    Booo, instead of working on crappy co op dlc for ps3 how about you do some actual dlc ubisoft.

    Adding to the single player portion of the game would get me more excited. Eh...I bought it for PC, so it really doesn't make much of a difference(regarding this DLC). I just hope they eventually consider adding to the story at some point.

    Well that's disappointing... I never understand what the motivation for platform exclusive dlc is...

    are you saying you prefer your PS3 fanbase over the others?

    Ubisoft, this is why I rarely buy your products. Whether this is strictly business or not (a problem in itself), respect has to be given in order to be earned.

    I have both consoles so it doesnt really bother me much, but I'm not a fan of "exclusives" because it feels as though just because I dont have it for the other system I'm going to miss out on something.

    Also why Co-Op? I dont have any friends who have this game nor do I do multiplayer alot. Would seem more beneficial if it was Solo with a Co-Op feature rather than being mandatory Co-Op
