Fallout 3 Voice Actor Teases Return

The voice actor of Fallout 3's radio DJ Three Dog is teasing a return, and says he's been given permission by Bethesda to do so.

Actor Erik Todd Dellums has tweeted: "To all my #Fallout3 and #ThreeDog fans: There may be more of the Dog coming! Fingers crossed!"

Unlike most of these voice actor blabs, however, Dellums then tweeted that he had been given permission by Bethesda to say that, so hopefully we should find out what it is soon.

  • O.O
  • Hey, I just submitted the news tip. Looks like GI beat me to the story by a hairsbreadth.

Also, I joy-puked when I saw this tweet.
  • I'd really like to know more since in Fallout 3's "good" ending (The ending almost always used by devs for sequels) It is peaceful in the Capitol Wasteland with (spoiler for a no longer new game) the Enclave destroyed and Super Mutants no longer being created. So anyway I have no clue where Fallout 4 will take place, but more than likely it will be years down the line for the Capital Wasteland, if it occurs there at all.
  • Let's just hope that Fallout 4 is in Boston.
  • I'd like to see a Fallout not on either coast but in middle plains America region, there were plenty of fallout shelters and secret Presidential bunkers constructed there during the Cold War; I'd like to see those serve as the basis of some on going struggle for power and survival since the east and west coasts probably don't have control over the region yet.
  • He should upgrade to 4 dog. Hell if it were up to me he'd be in Skyrim, dovah-dog.
  • Bethesda Game Studios is making Fallout 4?! I would have never guessed...

  • I would hope and or think that Fallout 4 could based your 'save' game to have some items or story pieces in place leading into the beginning of the game. Or maybe they just avoid that part and treat DC as the 'good' ending and they pick up in a totally different place. Or maybe a different country. I just hope it's Bethesda's team that works on this. I LOVED New Vegas, but Obsidian really put out a buggy game (Pc version) that took a while to get patched and fixed. +5 3dog!
  • Bringing you the news...no matter how bad it hurts!
  • I think a return to northern California with the Redwoods as a backdrop would be cool.

  • three dog was amazing. honestly he was the best part of fallout three i was a major fan of the original fallout series and i have to say that three dog was the only reason i was able to play all the way through fallout 3
  • I want the next fallout to take place in nyc
  • Yessss! This is great news! If this is Fallout 4 I hope Bethesda takes notes from the way Obsidian did New Vegas. It was much much better than FO3 in my opinion.
  • Awesome!  Can't wait to see what's on the horizon.

  • Looking forward to some more Dog! AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

  • Fallout 3 was one of the reasons for my return to regular gaming after a break of several years. I still remember that feeling of stepping out of the vault for the first time.I relish the prospect of returning to the wasteland.

  • Three dog way better than mr. new vegas
  • I want Fallout 4 to be back in California or the Mojave, where the original Fallouts took place. And I would rather have Obsidian make it.
  • Bring Fallout to the Rust Belt. A Fallout game set in or near Chicago, Detroit or Toledo could be amazing.
  • Sweet I get to mercilessly kill him and shut him up all over again...
