The lights are on
EA has sent along exactly what players can expect in terms of expansions in the coming year, along with a trailer for the next expansion on the docket.
The Sims franchise has always been known for supporting its fans with regular updates every year, and 2013 looks like it will be no exception. Electronic Arts intends to release no less than five distinct content packs for Sims 3 in 2013, and three of them are full-on expansion packs.
First up is the 70s, 80s, & 90s Stuff Pack, which brings new outfits and hair styles to match your favorite decade. Second, a full expansion entitled University Life brings your Sims back to college. Next, the Island Paradise Expansion lets you take customizable houseboats out to the islands, go scuba diving, and visit the beaches. Another unspecified “stuff” pack will hit later in the year, and a third major expansion. While that last release remains unnamed, EA has hinted that it focuses on the future. We're crossing our fingers for The Jetsons.
Eager to get started? Check out the announce trailer for the University Life Pack, which includes scenes of “juice” pong, naked streaking, kissing girls, and setting things on fire. Enjoy.

Pretty easy to figure out the last expansion pack, methinks. Look at the Sims 2's expansions, cross out whichever has already been released for Sims 3, and boom: unnamed expansion pack with "new" content.
Sounds awesome!
That would suck for my sims since they never age. It would be fun for them for like the first 4 years after that theyd want out lol
So excited for University! Can't wait!!!!
yay! sims 3 university!
Yup. Naked streaking and setting things on fire sure is the "university life." Too bad I'm a college student and STILL haven't done either. Guess I'm not hip. (lol)
At this point, I'm just waiting for Sims 4.
That and SimCity?
XD the sims 3 2013 see new
Hahahah this is cool. I'm in college and I still haven't seen the stereotype of college that the media portrays... Then again, I don't go to a party school.
