Reader Discussion: What Games Will Be Announced In 2013?
It’s the beginning of a new year. What game franchises do you think will get a newly announced installment in the next 12 months?
2013 promises to be a huge year in gaming. It’s the first year in the life of the Wii U, and both Sony and Microsoft are expected to announce new consoles as well. That means we’re likely to get official game announcements with increasing frequency as the months pass.
What games do you think we’ll see? Will there be a new Call of Duty, and if so, what is its subject? Do you believe we’ll get a new Assassin’s Creed, and if so, what time period will it explore? Will Nintendo bring any of its heavy hitters to bear, like Zelda or Metroid? What other games will show up at E3, on magazine covers, or in other announcements?
