The lights are on
If you had to pick a home for Darksiders, Saints Row, and the rest of THQ's game library, where would it be?
This is a serious question facing fans of THQ franchises considering each of them will be on the auction block come January 22. Warner Bros. Interactive, Electronic Arts, and Ubisoft are all reportedly kicking the tires on the struggling publisher's various projects, but nothing is stopping Activision, Take Two, or anyone else from bidding as well.
To see your favorite franchises thrive in the coming years, where would you like to see them land?

I think most should go to Ubisoft. LEt the wrestling go to EA.
Never really cared for THQ as a whole, but if anyone I hope that smaller companies like valve take the high end games. Don't want Activision ruining anything else.
If all there studios got picked up by 2K then I would be happy
If Saints Row can't stay with Volition where it belongs..then maybe somebody like 2K/Gearbox could pick it up. As long as it's somebody capable of doing it right and doing justice to the series name.
I'd say WWE should go the way of EA, but the thing there is, everybody's favorite wrestling games have been the ones that didn't bother staying too true to simulation & being as close to the show as possible. If that's to ever happen again, it can't be given to them.
Activision would be a prefect choice to help make sure the makers of the games are treated well and the creative vision of the games protected ... said no one
Now im worry for CoH 2.
As long as the properties do find homes, I'll be happy. I would hate to see these franchises disappear.
Darksiders should go to Ubisoft. Saints Row should go to Rock-star, that way they could have a serious and a funny Gta like game. Metro should go to Bethesda. Split the rest up between Ea, Activision , and WB.
i dont want to see the ips at ea i mean it would be cool to have a frostbite powered saints row but i hate ea's
project ten dollar making people pay ten dollars to play online on used games.
I just hope South Park still releases.
i just want ubisoft to get them ... not EA or activision at all since you know what they like to do to franchises. the rest of them could be trustable maybe but i think ubi would be best
Warner Bros. Interactive...
Is nobody worried about THQ's strategy titles? I love Company of Heroes and Dawn of War (and pretty much anything else regarding Warhammer 40k).
Don't really see all that fit in with any other publisher. Maybe Ubisoft or 2K, at least they still make some pretty good strategy games.
But I guess the Warhammer 40k license will be auctioned off seperately.
Let's see who ends up with that. EA already had it 20 years ago and they are also still big in the strategy segment. Maybe they could pull it off. I don't know.
Ubisoft should definitely get Darksiders...and 2K games/Fireaxis should get the strategy titles....
