The lights are on
It might not be real, but the price on eBay certainly makes it seem like it could be.
Apparently, when Mark Hamill's hand was getting cast in plaster for the famous scene where, spoiler alert, Darth Vader cuts off his hand, they accidentally made a mold of Hamill's left hand, when it should have been his right. Supposedly this is the unused plaster mold of his left hand that was never used. This is all according to the eBay description, and could of course be a total fabrication, but if it's not it's a cool, albeit expensive, piece of cinema history. It can be yours today for only $8,500.

if only i had the 8,500 to spend lol.
its not real thats his left hand and in the movie and the picture he lost his right hand
dudes trying to rip some nerds off
Why would someone want this? It wasnt even used in the movie, its just a throw away piece. Who knows... I bet there will be one guy out there that will want this.
Meh. I don't think it's real. But then again, I have been wrong before.
That's neat. I hope it's legit if somebody is going to pay 8,500 dollars for it.
What a rip-off, almost as stupid as that "beta" FF2 cartridge that sold for $50,000 on Ebay.
Kinda cool and kinda creepy when you think about it. I don't think I'd be placing it on my mantle, anyway. Hope it's legit.
$8,500! well. pass.
I think I'll get 425.21 copies of Deus Ex: Human Revolution instead. Or 309 copies and, you know, some Oreos or something.
Maybe if we all sold our kidneys we would have enough.
I don't see the reason of buying this... like... ever?
Should be a hell of a lot cheaper, considering it's the wrong friggin' hand! :P
$8,500 for the wrong hand.. Rip-off!! U can even see in the pic that its the wrong hand!! Again, Rip-off!!!
Sweet High 5 !!
It Looks like it didn't sell and was relisted. Although a lot of you all are complaining about it being a fraud and a ripoff and it clearly states that this hand was a mistake and Hamill's hand was recasted. If Dorthy's dress can sell for $400,000. I dont think the price is bad for something you can put on your desk and brag to your friends.
no thx. i'm not into disney toys
