The lights are on
The recently released 007 Legends as well as the past Bond titles Quantum of Solace and Blood Stone have all inexplicably disappeared from Steam and Activision's online download store.
Activision has yet to offer a reason for the games' disappearance. It may have something to do with the Bond license and its possible expiration, but we don't know anything for sure. We've reached out to Activision for more information.
Here's our review of the most recent Bond game, 007 Legends care of associate editor Dan Ryckert. If our review is any indication, Legends may have been pulled for quality assurance reasons.

This doesn't relate to 007 Legends, but why does nobody ever mention Agent Under Fire when they talk about the Bond games. It's one of my favorites.
telltale should make a james bond game
wonder what is the reason.
Blood Stone is amazing F the haters
Hopefully the Bond licence goes to a different publisher. Bond hasn't been so good lately.
Just like the Ghostbusters game.
Too bad, but it's probably for the better until Bond gets a good retool for the gaming universe. Rocksteady anyone?
The two best Bond games were the orignal Goldeneye (which could have been just as good without the license) and Everything or Nothing. Instead of trying to graft the license onto the standard FPS formula derived from the CoD series, someone needs to come up with an original idea for it. Or, take note of why those previous two games were fun, and what they offered that current FPSes do not.
Honestly, I miss the old style of multiplayer that started with the original Goldeneye--leveling and perks are okay, but they are a poor substitute for a fully customizable, open, multiplayer component, and the craziness thereof.
this is why licensing tends to ruin things for the future It runs out or expires or gets sold and then little pieces of gaming history get removed. *sigh*
