The lights are on
Who's cooler than a band's lead guitarist? Certainly not the singer. Maybe that's why Activision's Sing Hero never made it past the early development stages. [Except]
Activision filed a trademark for Sing Hero back in 2009, but the game never got developed. As Siliconera reports, Pi Studios, which had made Wii ports for Harmonix's Rock Band series, was hired to make Sing Hero, but Activision decided to get out of the music business and cancelled the project.
Sing Hero would have measured the number of fans a player had as their score. Check out some of these early images of the game that never was.

This is both sad and funny(for a variety of reasons).
That's actually pretty funny.
So Activision realized that karaoke wasn't going to sell as well as the Guitar and dance games? Who'd a thunk it!
That last image reminds me of Duke Nukem 3D and that era of ray cast shooters.
Then the game would be basically Karaoke with Visuals.
And not a single tear was shed.
I can't wait to see the next RockBand, 3 was so awesome..
That pink haired S&M chick's mouth ain't just for singin'. *seductive eyebrow raise*
They wanted to make Jagger Hero, but testers faces' grew tired of having the enlarged-lips peripheral attached to their mouth and it made them sound like doped-up Brits.
Wow, thank goodness that game was never made. Terrible.
Considering the Hero franchise was getting so flooded with titles, it makes sense that this would get canceled, especially when other games had vocals as well, I mean if it just did that it would be an overpriced karaoke experience. No one needed another peripheral.
Hmm...I guess...Well...Er...No.
It looks and sounds horrid.
I loved DJ hero , but sing hero? I would never play it
good thing it didn't develop.
those concepts are horrible.
