Exploring The Musical Soul Of Soul Sacrifice

by Ben Reeves on Dec 27, 2012 at 10:09 AM

Sony gives us a behind the scenes look at the development of the music for its monster hunting PS Vita title Soul Sacrifice.

Famed Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune is the designer behind this handheld game, but he's not the only big name Sony has working on the game. Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Xenoblade) and Wataru Hokoyama (Resident Evil 5), two of the industry's most respectable composers, are working on the music for this upcoming action game. All of the music was recorded using full orchestras and choruses on the Scoring Stage at Skywalker Sound as detailed in this recent developer video from PlayStation's European blog.

Soul Sacrifice is set to release in Japan on March 7, and will hopefully be hitting Western shores not long afterwords.
