The lights are on
After some teasing from Square Enix, the Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII trailer premiered yesterday, and there's a slightly longer version floating around the Internet.
Along with the slightly re-edited trailer, which includes mostly the same footage as the previous trailer, comes a handful of new screens. The trailer comes from Jump Festa, an anime convention in Japan that celebrates all things nerdy.
Check it out below, and keep an eye out for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII next year.

Only slightly lol
Looks good. I like the style and design of the town.
Looks pretty nice.
I'm liking this.
This makes me feel better about the game.
This looks oh so good!
looks pretty good
awesome
It looks like stealth is going to be part of the game.
This looks good since there is no freaking gay moogle. That moogle and the story killed the last one for me.
YAY!
It looks just as beautiful, if not moreso, than the previous two games. Combat looks highly similar, which is a plus -- I'm interested to see if the changes are more than just graphical. I'll almost certainly be picking this up when it releases -- if only to get some closure on the story.
Excellente.
I hope they change the battle display to look more like Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2, take away the doomsday clock, that it is not as action oriented as it looks, and that they change her appearance some (Lighting looks fine but the clothing doesn't).
Other than that this will be a preorder for me just like every other Final Fantasy game. I hope it can be as good as XIII and XIII-2 was if not better.
Looks better then FF XIII-2, Noel was annoying, and Sarah, not exactly a strong female character.
I love Lightning's character, and I'm looking forward to finishing this trilogy. But damn Lightning, you look stupid
What the hell are you wearing, lightning?
