The lights are on
The gaming-themed movie, Noobz, was supposed to come out last summer, and now it's finally ready for an early 2013 showing.
Noobz will hit an as-yet-unnamed group of theaters on January 25 and head to DVD and video-on-demand services shortly thereafter on January 29. The movie stars Jason Mewes, Casper Van Dien, writer/director Blake Freeman as they head to Los Angeles to play Gears of War 3 in the Cyberbowl Video Game Championships. Hey, at least this will be out before Gears of War: Judgment in March.
Take a look at a new behind-the-scenes clip where Freeman talks about his inspiration for making the movie or check out the trailer if you haven't seen it yet.
What does everybody think? Are you going to watch it?

Yes! This will definitely strengthen the gamer image...
...>_<
This seems degrading.
it actually didn't look THAT bad
Look up the "King of the Nerds" or whatever its called that TBS is making.
Its insulting.
There are plenty of failed gamer films. By all means, add another one. It's not like anyone will be paying attention anyway.
I thought this died! Why is it back!?!
