Well Square manages to milk another one from this bad entry. I honestly think they are just putting out these games to wait until the next gen consoles for an entry that doesn't suck to come out. I will wait for a favorably reviewed FF game before I touch the series again.

I feel very moderate on both of the prequels. I appreciate the system but I hope they don't make another nearly unbearable story. I just have a feeling this wont answer any questions that final fantasy 13-2 left , like how could brown ass adults write such a horrible idiotic story. And why am I oddly compelled to love this game ? Huge love hate relationship with Final Fantasy 13 and 13-2

When I was growing up, I stumbled across Secret of Mana one day. Ever since then I consumed anything Squaresoft(Pre-SquareEnix) did at the time, anything to slake my thirst for JRPG's. I finally came across Final Fantasy and to this day FFII(Japan IV), FFIII(Japan VI), and FFVII are all time video game favorites of mine. These days, I wish they would just let it die. Or return it to its rightful glory, but by God give me a mature storyline ALONGSIDE great gameplay. Why is this so hard to do with such a ridiculously long library of AAA RPG titles from the past 20 years? WTF!

Hopefully they are only showing one city and only lightning because it's the "tease video."  I cannot see playing as only her being much fun, and only being in one city being much fun either.  I liked XIII-2 up until the ending, but that pretty much killed it for me.  

I still have to finish the other two.

looks pretty sweet, and probably the first final fantasy game i get on day one, but I REALLY hope the story is better in this one than the last one...time-changing and worlds was so confusing....

I completed 13 and 13-2 so will likely pick this up not long after release (If I have the money) to finish up the story!

FF13 was one of the worst Final Fantasy...all you do is go from point A to point B...then watch a random cut scene that always ends with one of the character crying or acting dramatic...and continue...

I'd rather see an HD remake of FFVII, FFVIII, or even FFX. The stories in the XIII series so far haven't been too captivating for me.

This game looks like crap, Enix...work on a new Deus Ex and give up on making terrible Final Fantasy Games...7 was and will always be the best.

The story behind XIII just did not captivate me. I'm a loyal RPG fan, and this is not what I would call a good move. Maybe to some who actually liked the game, but from what I hear, not a lot of people did. Stop rehashing XIII and move on. This is one of the reasons I think why SE keeps losing. Move on, please.

Great trailer! I enjoyed both FF XIII and XIII-2, so I'm really looking forward to this game.
