The lights are on
Family Guy Online, which only opened up its beta to the public a few months ago, is shutting down on January 18, 2013.
The news comes from a posting on the Family Guy Online website. Refunds will be issued back to those who spent real money of the game during the beta.
There is another Family Guy game that released recently, but if our review is any indication, it probably shouldn't have ever left beta either.

Yeah, I got that e-mail but only played the game for about a week or two.
it is amasing
Good news. Sounded terrible.
Smart move. Family Guy has turned itself into its own worst enemy.
I don't know who would want to play a family guy MMO anyway.
Typical online play (through a hater's eyes):
Piss on neighbour's yard.
Give other neighbour middle finger
Make numerous racist comments to neighbours
Screw wife in bathtub
Kiss the bible when not screwing wife
Watch TV while forcing everyone else to do your chores
Yup, that sums it up. They should have learned from the Simpsons that sometimes it's best to parody GTA3 to get any decent attention from gamers.
I never even knew this game existed
As someone who signed up for the beta i am surprised to not be disappointed
I am a big fan of the show, but whoever had the idea of throwing an MMO is **** up in the head.
Wow. Figured this was going to happen though.
