The lights are on
Family Guy Online, which only opened up its beta to the public a few months ago, is shutting down on January 18, 2013.
The news comes from a posting on the Family Guy Online website. Refunds will be issued back to those who spent real money of the game during the beta.
There is another Family Guy game that released recently, but if our review is any indication, it probably shouldn't have ever left beta either.

Dang.
I don't see how any of this Family Guy stuff could ever be good anyway. Sorry for the devs.
Oh that stinks, I love there show! Keep going good with the show and I think you guys will be fine.
Regardless of your feelings towards the show, i just can't see how a Family Guy MMO could ever be any good.
That's incredible.
well its cool they are refunding everybody, too bad about the game
How embarrassing
Not really surprised.
I never even heard of it.
sigh... I thought they'd know better than this..
Wow... Was it really that bad?
I was excited when I received my beta key.....Until I tried to play it....It was an awful mess, from the quests to the controls layout. Nothing about that game was good. It felt like they were punishing people on the basis of being fans of Family Guy.
well, thats sad.
