Mega Man X Kicks Maverick Butt In Fan-made Video

In honor of Mega Man's 25th anniversary, fan Shane Newville (via Rooster Teeth's YouTube channel) created a homemade video of Mega Man X beating the rivets out of some Mavericks. The 3D characters models look great as they sail through the air, performing gritty martial arts combos while X peppers in a few buster shots here and there.

The video below offers a tantalizing glimpse into what may have become of future 3D Mega Man X games. I love the evenly matched battle between Zero and X, but my favorite moment involves Vile and an enormous fan blade. Be sure to stick around after the credits for a teaser.

Yep, that was pretty awesome. Then again, it was one of the animators from Rooster Teeth and I found their action sequences in RvB since Monty Oum joined to be really great.

well that was totally epic.. got my blood pumped ready for a badass megaman game, *turns to shelf and looks at megaman collection that ive played 100 times*.... well... looks like capcom needs to make another.. ive playe these into the ground and they wont satisfy the itch that video left :D lol

Wow! This is probably the greatest fan made video of a game ever! The fighting is so cool and the buster charge blast is awesome. This is just great. To bad there is no Capcom made game for the 25th anniversary. This video is going in my favorites!
