Jetpack Joyride Headed To The PlayStation Network For Free

This is kind of confusing, because Jetpack Joyride is already available as a Mini on the PlayStation Network, but this version will be free and include Trophies and leaderboards.

The game is available today in Europe, and it will be available on December 31 here in North America. It will be playable on the PlayStation 3 and the Vita.

    Downloaded this for my iPhone during Halfbrick's free Christmas giveaway. It's quickly become one of my favorite. I love the deep exploration of such a simple game mechanic. Also, PROFIT BIRD!

    Good acquisition by Sony, but it's not that big considering it's free on Android/iOS devices.

    Already free with achievements on Windows 8. Also mobile devices already have it for free. Not sure why this is news.

    Jetpack Joyride is waaaaaay too addicting. I have this on my iPad so I probably won't give this a look, but PS3 owners who haven't played it are in for a treat.

    Flying in a jet pack would hardly be a joy ride. Bumping into stuff at high speed never produced "joy," unless "joy" is synonymous with "oh dear Go-" *SPLAT*. Trust me, we've tested this sort of thing.
