The lights are on
It's not a new game, but Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers has never released in North America, so technically it will be new to us.
The game, which features two colons in the title, originally released on the Sega Saturn in 1997. After more than 10 years, it's finally getting some localization, and it will appear on the 3DS next year. It's a first-person dungeon exploration RPG, with familiar turn-based battles.

Love me some JRPG's!!! It looks like the 3DS is keeping the awesome RPG line-up coming like the DS did for some many years. I just hope the 3DS or the Wii U gets a sequel to The World Ends With You I absolutely loved that game.
its amazing how well the game has been cleaned up.
As much as I love Atlus and the SMT series, I probably won't be picking this one up. I'm just not a fan of First Person dungeon exploration. I was the same way with Strange Journey (I think that's what it was called) for DS, and I just couldn't finish the game. Just not my type.
/drool...
The 3DS is quickly stepping in for the DS as the place to go for JRPG lovers. Having said that, first person has never been my thing so I probably won't pick this up. Hopefully the next JRPG we get is Bravely Default: Flying Fairy! That would be a no-doubter for me.
That title is simply too much. Even the abbreviation is overkill. SMT:DS:SH. Game titles should be limited to one colon.
oh yeah!
FINALLY.
Can we get the collection for PS3 or least some of the Shin Megami series?
Holy crap. That makes three titles on the 3DS in the Shim Megami Tensei franchise in a three year span.
It really is following in the JRPG-heavy footsteps of the DS.
