Monster Hunter 4 Pushed Back In Japan

Monster Hunter 4 has been delayed in Japan with the developer saying that more time is necessary to increase the quality of the game.

The game has not been confirmed for North America yet, so technically our release date stays exactly the same: indeterminate. This announcement from Capcom comes along with its expectation that Resident Evil 6's sales will drop soon.

This does not affect the releases of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for 3DS and Wii U. Both of those games should be available March 2013.

Take your time Capcom. If it is as great as Tri then it will be worth the wait. Also I will be getting Monster Hunter 3 on Wii U and 3DS. That game was so great it'll be worth exploring it all over again in HD AND 3D.

I'm always disappointed by delays, but for the most part, the game turns out better for it. Hopefully the delay helps Capcom make this the best game it could possibly be.

I'm pumped that they're not pushing back the date for Monster Hunter Ultimate. I just hope they do some sort of deal where you get 50% off the 3DS version if you buy the Wii U version or something. Seeing as you can transfer your file and take it on the go this would be a great idea. I will definitely be buying the Wii U version though because I couldn't get enough of Tri on the Wii.

I don't mind delays. Usually I have more than enough to play until a game launches. I just hope it doesn't land during some cluttered week.

Can't wait to see some game play and some new monsters! Monster Hunter Tri was a great game especially on the Wii. The Switch Blade better be in the fourth game!

they can take their time with that game. I want it to be the most awesome if and when it comes to the US and i'll have 3 ultimate to hold me over until it comes out.
