The lights are on
With just 43 hours to go, Peter Molyneux's proposed god game has surpassed its Kickstarter goal. The famed designer walks viewers through a multiplayer prototype of Godus in a new video.
22 Cans has reached its £450,000 goal, and is now setting its sights on a variety of stretch goals. The first stretch goal, set at £460,000 promises to add three extra single-player and multiplayer modes, and looks easily attainable, considering the Kickstarter now sits at £456,156. 22 Cans also posted a new video of the Godus prototype, which shows Molyneux trying out and screaming through a multiplayer test. It's pretty amusing:
You can see the full list of stretch goals and donate at the Godus Kickstarter page.

oh. seems interesting.
This actually looks like fun. Been wanting a proper god game for ages, I can only play Black & White so many times.lol
I cant watch this video without taking nothing Peter says seriously.
THIS MAN SPEWS HALF AND EMBELLISHED TRUTHS!
I'm so happy for this. I want this game to come out right now so bad.
gratz to peter .. i'm suprised it hit the goal kinda...then again he talks a good convicing talk
I don't know if anyone remembers it, but the elevating land feature reminds me a lot of my favorite god game, Populous. I hope this game is something like that.
so glad this made its goal. Cool looking art style.
I can't believe this many people are willing to fall for Peter's horsesh*t AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN. Have they all learned NOTHING about this man and his delusions of grandeur???
Oh.Well thats pretty good, was looking foward to this.
Nice vid...
