The lights are on
The success of Mojang's beloved indie sandbox hit shows no signs of slowing down. Mojang developer Johan Bernhardsson announced over Twitter that Minecraft: Pocket Edition has been bought more than five million times, bolstering the game's already-impressive sales numbers. The PC and Mac versions of the game are still the front runners, combining for 8.3 million sales, followed by the XBLA version, which has been bought 4.48 million times. All versions of the game are still being updated; news broke on Monday that 4J Studios is currently working on Update 7 for the XBLA version, which adds a variety of gameplay mechanics including animal breeding, a new mushroom biome, and experience points.Via: Gamespot
