The lights are on
Raptr has announced the most-played games of 2012. The awards take into account average individual playtime, average session length, and total playtime. Unsurprisingly, games like Skyrim, World of Warcraft, Modern Warfare 3, and League of Legends are maintaining their staying power, while Borderlands 2 takes its place in the awards as a new recipient. Loot goes a long way. What is surprising, however, is that Borderlands 2 saw 200 percent more total playtime than Diablo III did in their respective first months.Check out the full list of awards below:
Most Played New Game – Borderlands 2 Most Played Pre-2012 Game – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Biggest Boost from User-Generated Content – Portal 2 Most Played Long-Awaited Sequel – Borderlands 2 No Bathroom Break – Borderlands 2 Most Played XBLA Game – Minecraft Most Played New IP – Dragon’s Dogma Most Successful Paid to Free-to-Play Game – Star Wars: The Old Republic

Raptr is an awesome app! But it constantly reminds me how much of my life I have wasted in Syrim and Minecraft.
Man, they're monitoring our every move!!!
I can see why Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is on this list. The franchise really is played out.
What's that? Oh...I see now. The "Most Played Game Awards". As in time spent playing the game. My bad...
...I love me some Call of Duty! :)
Borderlands 2 is so damn good.
didnt expect that.
Since we're on the topic of Raptr tracking people's play time, they need to do away with "manual tracking" Players can submit something like 5 hours to a game each day with out having played it. I understand its there for when you played without an internet connection. But when Raptr tells me I need to play TMNT another 200 hours to be the #1 player on the site, I know that #1 player is full of ***.
