The lights are on
No one should be surprised to see that the upcoming multiplayer component of Ascension is unflinchingly brutal.
Sony sent along the new trailer for God of War: Ascension today, which mixes CG and in-game footage to paint a picture of what players can expect out of the upcoming multiplayer mode. In short, it looks like you're in for some serious throwdowns against your fellow God of War players, and when you die, you can expect a detailed glimpse of exactly how it happened.
The trailer also mentions details about the upcoming multiplayer beta, which will become available to PlayStation Plus members on January 8th.

I keep hearing about a beta on Jan 8, but I should be receiving codes for a beta on Dec 17. Are the codes for the January beta or an early one? (codes came from their website's "Rise of the Warrior" thingy)
