The lights are on
Assassin’s Creed III is now the fastest-selling game in the history of Ubisoft, according to a statement released by the company today. Assassin’s Creed III has topped 7 million in sales worldwide since it was released.
Ubisoft states that over 82 centuries of gaming time has been accumulated by players since the game’s release, and more than 3 billion in-game assassinations have been carried out. There are also twice as many players participating in the multiplayer of Assassin’s Creed III compared to Revelations, with those players logging over 5 billion multiplayer sessions.

Very impressive, even with the bug complaints the game has received. Congratulations on the huge sales numbers!
Could people please stop complaining about the game and/or the bugs? There is no possible way that if millions of people bought the game, then it is bad. I might not like certain games, like black ops 2 or hitman, but that doesn't mean that the game is bad, just not my taste. People put hundreds of hours into the game they make and if millions of people bought it and loved it then they have to be doing something right.
NICE. I was very pleased with AC3. Amazing game. Any little bugs I may have came acoss didn't "bug" me... ahuahuahua.
lotta murders going unanswered
As a huge fan of the series. Even with the Brotherhood Tattoo on my left front forearm. (not that it really matters) I was really not pleased with the game as I was with the others excluding Revelations. Connor's character never reached out to me, and Desmond felt more bland then ever. Fighting mechanics never changed as drastic as Ubisoft led on to believe it would. I beat the story of the game and I recently traded it in. Overall not pleased one bit
So close to Finishing Revelations, yet so far away too. I bought AC3 Deluxe for a Christmas present to myself and most likely won't see it until after the new year.
I'm still working on the dumb club tasks and then I'll jump into multiplayer to try for the Plat.
I helped out with that statistic. Probably gonna get in some more multi-player this weekend.
Wow. 82 centuries? Holy crap. I'm glad that its doing well though.
I have not beaten it yet, but so far I think it kinda sucks. I feel they really dropped the ball with this one, which is super disappointing because I've loved all 4 previous games. In my opinion one of the main problems is Connor, he's just a doushe, and I never thought I'd say this but I felt more connected with Altair then I do with Connor.
However, I'm still of course planning on finishing the game, I have to see how their ending it! :)
Wow. They did market it the most however, other than FC3...
wow now thats a lot of centuries.....
and i one of then but plz work on the bugs faster
Wow so many complainers and people that probably played the game saying it sucked. I beat the game and Im still hooked on the naval battles and finishing all the side missions because the game look amazing, very fluid, and the story is badass. If you dont like history and dont want to learn then dont play the game.
Best assassins creed yet
This is my tie for GOTY, so I know why this sold so well! ;)
There were 2 games i went to the midnight for, halo 4 and this game
