Rockstar Hiring For New Tech

by Matthew Kato on Dec 11, 2012 at 03:29 AM

Grand Theft Auto V developer Rockstar North in Edinburgh, Scotland is hiring for, "core engine development."

"This is an exciting opportunity to develop cutting-edge architectures and high performance systems for current and next-gen platforms," reads the listing for the core engine programmer position.

The studio is also hiring a character animator and physics programmer (neither of which mention next-gen development), as well as other positions.

Furthermore, Rockstar San Diego is also looking for a network programmer for the, "synchronization of the wide range of gameplay mechanics found in a Rockstar open world game." Whether this refers to Grand Theft Auto V or another title, is unknown.
