The lights are on
A petition sent to Namco Bandai following the announcement of Dark Souls II is demanding that the game comes to the Wii U. As of this writing, the petition has reached 5,606 signatures. The petition on Change.org cites the potential inventory management options of the Wii U Gamepad as the perfect starting point for a Wii U version of the game. Nintendo's promise of third party support has been looking up in the wake of titles like Assassin's Creed III, Batman: Arkham City, and Darksiders II, so the possibility of more doesn't seem too far out of question. The petition needs 100,000 total signatures to make a dent.

TOO BAD. jk if it can run it, it should be available. and being a next gen console it better be able to run it
If you could manage inventory on your touchscreen separately then it would make the game slightly easier. This sounds like a one way ticket to hand-holding.
Haha I'm sure it wasn't only me, but I submitted this news tip WAY earlier. Oh well though I'm just glad that they posted it as I really want this game to reach a wider audience. The PC port of Dark Souls just didn't do this game justice.
