The lights are on
Rovio has announced that an Angry Birds movie is officially on the way.
It's being produced by John Cohen, the producer behind Despicable Me, with former Marvel Studios chairman David Maisel signed on as executive producer. The film should be in theatres the summer of 2016, which should be the perfect amount of time for the Angry Birds fad to fade away... right?

This is an April Fools joke, right? Wait, you mean to tell me it's December?
... Crap.
Honest to God, I don't mean to sound like a complete jerk but why would ANYONE give a minute to even care about this? The only reason Angry Birds is so popular is because its the easiest accessible casual game on the IOS market and a time sink. People don't play the game the way they would play say Persona or Street Fighter. Lots of people would probably invest time into Angry Birds while waiting to be called in to see the doctor or dropping a huge load off at the bathroom, then poof,..Angry Birds goes away. Same for this movie, more things to occupy ourselves with while taking a deuce.
Ha really? Of all the games... ha wow.
ffs.. i hope this is gonna tank like hell.. then the makers will learn not to do this again.
