The lights are on
If you've played the fantastic XCOM: Enemy Unknown, you know that death is an inevitable and sobering occurrence. Many of us have seen our friends and family perish at the hands of various sectoids, floaters, and (especially) sectopods. Now you can honor their sacrifice in the noblest of ways...via a thingy on Facebook.
The XCOM memorial wall won't show your fallen friend's image, but you'll be able to post their name, nationality, mission stats, and circumstances of death. Head here if you'd like to participate in a moment of silence.
Email the author Dan Ryckert, or follow on Twitter, Google+, Facebook, and Game Informer.
that's pretty cool
Lazenby? Isn't that a Bond dude?
Just link it to my game
Oh, those sectopods. A wave of fear goes through me every time one appears.
a memorial wall..
Jesus "stacks" O'brien was the best damn medic any xcom unit could hope for
R.I.P. Dan Ryckert, you were the most worthless private in my battalion.
Really? I send an awesome link about The Last of Us having MULTIPLAYER and they post this ***? Nevermind interesting new info, let's have some of the old!
RIP Major Kevin Costner. Without a Waterworld 2 the world will always seem empty and meaningless, you were truly taken before your time.
My Assaulter Col. Charlize 'Hollywood' Theron is still kicking ass and taking names. Will be a sad day when she kicks it.
This is pretty funny. I might actually use it.
Hmm might be an entertaining time killer when I finally get this game.
I will honor my fallen the best way I know, by blowing aliens butt up.
R.I.P. Clyde Martinez. Armed with the shotty, that close quarter 88% kill shot was money... how could you miss that!??!! What a bullcrap way to go out. I swear this game doesnt want me to win.
