Purchase Every Super Nintendo Game For $25,000

Seeing an eBay auction like this one makes me wish I were stupidly rich, or really irresponsible with my money. The auction consists of all 721 Super Nintendo games. The seller points out that every game has a box, and 85 percent of them have manuals.

This impressive collection was assembled by purchasing used games. Some of the games are in mint conditions, others are in rough shape. A complete list of the games and their condition is included in the auction notes.

You can view the entire collection right here.

  • wow, thats a lot of games...........

  • Wait. Hold the phone. Are you telling me that I can have every SNES game for the low, low price of $25,000? I mean isn't that like common pocket change these days?
  • Holy moly, this makes me happy about the possibility of such an amazing collection and sad that I can't ever afford something like that.

  • Rick from Pawn Stars would give him $50.
  • Holy guacamole. That's quite the collection. Now, is this just the US released titles?
  • damn that's an impressive collection, but a bit too steep of a price I think
  • Dude that's wow, a lot of games. I mean if I was filthy rich and it was a playstation or an xbox I would say yes. But dang. Freaking wow.

  • aw sh-- that is one awesome collection. I wish I'm a rich guy...

  • Where's $25,000 when you need it

  • An adolescent pig walks into a store and sees a horse. The horse is owned by a human who is a member of a biker gang. The biker gang worships bunnies. The bunnies eat erasers with green chalk on it. The eraser was abused by a teacher. The teacher was neglected by her parents. Her parents owned a farm. The farm was in foreclosure. The bank sold the farm to an adult pig. The adult pig was drunk and signed off the farm to his adolescent pig son. The adolescent pig came into the store for a suit to show off his wealth. Pickle toppings are best when served with vengeance and broccoli crowns.
  • That's a lot of money, but actually somewhat cheap. If he/she paid $30 for every game, that's $21630. So if it sells, he/she would only make a profit of $3370. And that's only if they paid $30 for every game.
  • Quick, someone donate $25k to me, I have... glaucoma?
  • If he trades all of those SNES games at Gamestop, he would get around $19.59...
  • Impressive collection.

  • Yeah...but only around less than half of all the 721 Super Nintendo Games are actually worth playing. And the 75% of the others just plain suck.
  • If i was rich, I would totally buy this. The shipping would suck though.
  • A bit late on the draw with this GIO. Saw this on Reddit a couple a days ago when the auction started up. It's actually a steal for a hardcore collector. Many of those games are hard to find with the box and everything in tact. Personally, I have a bunch of custom plastic cases for my old cardboard box games. Having those means I can just unfold the actual boxes and put them away in a safe place.
  • Time to visit the local bank.
  • I would be hard pressed to think of a cooler way to spend 25k. Not a better way, just a cooler one.
  • 34$ per game... this actually is fairly reasonable when you think about it.
