I can't really see any improvements over GoW 3... looks overall the same. If someone was to show me this trailer and a trailer from GoW3 I can't tell the difference.

Hmmm... This looks good. But Gears of War is one of those franchises where I can't eat food and play the games at the same time. I lose my appetite really fast.

Need this game so bad! I hope the Colonel they are referring to is Hoffman XD I mean are there any other Colonels??? lol

No crap it's being milked. I wish games these days wouldn't always be turned into huge franchises and series of sequels. More standalone adventures would be welcome in my opinion.

I'm looking forward to it, I still love the Gears of War play-style, and can't wait to fire up my Lancer.

Maybe a few enemies and revamped graphics thrown in. Other than that, I don't see all too much difference. Looks like a fun game though.

I dunno' what it is, but I've been worried about this game since I read the GI cover story.

GoW is the only reason I would maybe get an xbox. Or Dust: An Elysian tail..

It is not being milked. Seems like nowadays everyone thinks if more and more games with the same title keep coming out it is being milked. Fun fact, Lord of the Rings, Mass Effect, Star Wars, Halo, Gears of War and many many more have a vast history and so much story you can tell. You can go on and on, make so many books, movies and games from it. Personally I am excited for this game and cannot wait to play it!

I like that they're going back to looking dark and grim (The natural GOW setting) The difficulty is suppose to be back as well so as many changes that are happening it'll be a game any Gears fan will enjoy

I was on the fence about this game before but after watching this trailer at the VGA's I can see that Epic Games and People Can Fly put a lot of hard work into making this game look awesome. Can't wait!

i'm happy they are making a prequel, i always wanted to know what it was like closer to emergence day, the only thing i could ask more of epic games is to make bulletstorm 2 and a gears of war set in the days of the pendulum wars

I sort of wish they could have made this for the next gen xbox. Would have been a killer title to have to start the Xbox 720 or whatever it is going to be called. Anybody else thinking like this?

hopefully this will be the last gears of war. v.v prequels just irk me.

Great trailer. Being a huge Gears fan, I am excited for this game. But nothing truly wow'ed me as of now.
