Ubisoft Brazil managing director Bertrand Chaverot told Portuguese-language tech website Techtudo that the next entry in the Assassin's Creed series will take place in Brazil.

The news/rumor comes from GameSpot, who translated the interview. The Assassin's Creed series has released a new game every year since Assassin's Creed II, so we may learn the validity of this rumor some time next year.

and bring back Desmond or maybe do a new character set in the near future and NOT have Nolan North (he's great but every big tripple A game have him and that is just boring now, bring something fresh to the table and then stick to a character and not kill him..

They should have it in modern times. Imagine climbing around the favelas, they could incorporate some gangs fighting for territory, except with guns now. Maybe there is a corporation (templars) purposely keeping so many people poor and in the favelas to further grow their power. You can go in the jungle, maybe some ancient alien artifacts in the jungle. The templars are using the people to mine the artifacts out of temples or something. just a thought lol
