The lights are on
The closed beta for Company of Heroes 2, the PC exclusive strategy game, is entering closed beta, "shortly after the New Year."
The news of the beta comes from the the Company of Heroes 2 message boards. An exact date for the beta was not offered, but the posting does say that a new trailer will be online shortly after December 10, so that's something to get excited about.
Company of Heroes 2 is set for release sometime next year.

I got the first onre from the hmble bundle, and i have to say, it's one of the most genius RTS's i've ever played. It's so good! The second one should be great.
This game looks good, I would love to play it.

I love love love Company of Heroes. Fantastic game. Blitzkrieg mod is one of the better mods I've play for the game. Definitely ups the difficulty and strategy involved.
It's race against time as Relic steps into overdrive to release the game before THQ's inevitable collapse. The task is as gargantuan as the Eastern Front in WW2 itself. good luck to them, but I'm a bit leery in giving money to them early, much less springing for their collector's edition that gets you into the closed beta.
'Metro: Last Light', 'South Park: The Stick of Truth' and 'Company of Heroes 2'... Three very promising titles, let's just hope that they won't be pirated too much, otherwise THQ won't last very long.
Also just got this with humble Bundle..it's fun but I'm terrible at RTS and this is a complex game so I'm slowly learning..on level 3 of the first campagin area (D-Day) and already experiencing trouble..lol
would be neat to get into this if I could play it.
