The Humble THQ Bundle

Update: The bundle now includes Titan Quest and  Red Faction Armageddon DLC Path to War. Total sales are nearing $4 million.

--------------------------

THQ is feeling charitable today. The publisher  is offering a bunch of games for whatever price you want on PC through Steam.

Pay what you want for Darksiders, Company of Heroes, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, Metro 2033 and Red Faction: Armageddon. If you beat the average you also get Saints Row: The Third.

The bundle deal runs for the next two weeks.

  • like, whatever price I want? $1?
  • ANY price???????????????????? O_o
  • Wow, I love Humble Bundle deals and feel that this is truly one of the best deals I've ever seen!

  • That is so cool! I love you THQ... please make it trhough this rough time...
  • i have a mac, but i'm getting just for the soundtracks... plus when i get a sweet gaming computer, i'll have some good games.
  • Bundles like this make me wish I had a better computer so I could run them. But this is a sweet deal.
  • This is awesome. I still have yet to play Metro 2033 so I'm definitely going to pick that up. Will probably get the CoH games also. Haven't played them either.
  • Avg. price is at $5.23 right now, just went in for $10. All those games for $10? Yes please.
  • I want to pay quite a lot on these kind of things, but the inner scrounge in me meant I only paid $8. Still, it's more than the average, so I get a copy of SR3.

  • There goes "Humble". Sucks that THQ obviously doesn't care about supporting those developers anymore and that the Humble Bundle isn't just promoting indie anymore. Regardless, I don't mind shifting the split to only give to charity, so that's what I'll do.
  • Doh... I don't think my rig can handle anything more than psychonauts... people who know pc shite, what do you think?
  • So wait, how can THQ stop people from just paying a cent or something?
  • This is such a great bundle. Done deal for me!

  • This is the strangest and least indie Humble Bundle yet.
  • This was the smartest idea any one has ever had since kickstarter campaigns launched. This has the potential in 2 weeks to turn around THQs troubles, here's to hoping on their success.

My only question is the for the average cost to earn Saints Row The Third. Does it count when you make your donation or does it only count after the promotion is over and if you not over the final average donation you don't get it? If anyone could clarify, that would be awesome.
  • as long as you pay a $1.00(one dollar) or more you get the bundle

and the average was $5.19 when I checked

  • That's very humble of THQ, no pun intended. Definitely gonna drop $20 on it... all I have left after Christmas shopping lol, wish I could give more.

Update: **BRAAAHHHH** lol should have waited.
