The lights are on
The soundtrack for Sony's downloadable hit Journey received a Grammy nomination for Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media. This is the first video game soundtrack to receive a nomination. The album was composed by Austin Wintory and joins other nominees Hugo, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Dark Knight Rises, The Artist, and The Adventures Of Tintin - The Secret Of The Unicorn.
Last year, Christopher Tin's "Baba Yetu," best known as the opening theme to Sid Meier’s Civilization IV, was the first video game song to receive a Grammy nomination and win.

Good! It's well deserved.
Well, that's cool to hear. I'd love to play this game. Whenever I get the actual chance, that is.
Sweet, I got the game when it released, and the soundtrack is pretty great.
Beautiful soundtrack for a beautiful game. I honestly don't care much for the Grammys, but I desperately hope this game wins one.
Great news and much deserved for Journey! I'm glad a video game soundtrack finally received a nomination.
This soundtrack absolutely deserves to win. The Journey music is absolutely amazing and is hands down the best of the year. In fact it may be my favorite soundtrack of all time.
