The lights are on
A number of users are reporting that after downloading the latest Assassin's Creed III content, Hidden Secrets Pack, that the game has erased mission progress and reset other stats.
Ubisoft was quick to respond with the issue, saying on its forums, "Just a quick heads up, we're able to reproduce this issue at the studio and are working on a fix/workaround. From what we can tell, this problem seems to be rare and should generally only affect a very small number of players. That said, we're taking the speedy and complete resolution of this very seriously."
The publisher then offered tips on avoiding the bug. "Do not load your saved AC3 game while the DLC is downloading in the background. This appears to be the key trigger for this bug. You can do anything else you want to do, just don't load up your saved game and play it while the DLC is downloading."

SUCKS!
I am glad I have yet to download it yet then. I will wait until it is fixed, I am no huge rush to play this DLC just yet.
Well that's a bummer for some people.
Well shoot, first the game needs a patch right out of the gate and now you can lose all your progress by wanting to play more. Seems like this one didn't get tested all the way through Ubisoft, let this be a lesson to you.

Oof. AC3 has had a pretty rough release.
Nothing is more aggravating and horrible then losing all of your progress on a save file(s). Condolences to those who have to start all over again.

The next DLC should address these issues. That will be $14.99.
what would really suck if some of those people were trying to platinum the game and get 100% on every mission and they had maybe 2-3 more missions to complete with 100% and it gets erased...i'd be pissed because some of those naval missions, 100% is a b*&^h!!!
