Next Mass Effect DLC Sounds Epic

by Ben Reeves on Dec 05, 2012 at 02:45 PM

Mass Effect 3 has been out for nearly eight months, but that doesn't mean the game's DLC release schedule is slowing down. The next batch of downloadable content will involve BioWare Edmonton's entire writing team.

Some people were disapointed by Mass Effect 3's Omega add-on, which came out last week, but it sounds like ME 3's next batch of content will be anything but second tier. According to an official post on BioWare's forums, "It's all hands on deck for this one. Pretty much every ME3 DLC writer here in Edmonton is involved. (which would include both Patrick Weekes AND John Dombrow)."

Mass Effect 3 composer Sam Hulick added, "What I'm up to lately: working on an unannounced Mass Effect 3 DLC! More details on this coming later on," recently via twitter

Expect Joker to make a return in this upcoming package as well, since BioWare's producer and voice director Caroline Livingstone recently tweeted, "thank you for yet another fantastic session. And thank you for being such a kind person. You are lovely!" to voice actor Seth Green recently. Sounds like somebody has a crush. (I'm talking about me!)

All this adds up to some pretty robust sounding downloadable content. Hopefully we get to hear more about this very soon.
