The lights are on
Ubisoft announced a co-op pack for Far Cry 3 called "High Tides" that is due out this January exclusively for PlayStation 3. It contains two new story chapters with four to five missions each and four character skins. No other details about the content were revealed at this time.
Below is a description Ubisoft sent along:
The co-op story is far from over. Hoyt’s privateers have ambushed the four survivors and taken them hostage. It’s up to you and your friends to escape and underground prison and find a way off this island of insanity.
Note: The picture above is from Far Cry 3.
wooohoo~
Wow, that DLC description was original. Wasn't that the story of the whole darned game in the first place?
I think it sucks that a multi-platform game is getting DLC that's exclusive to one system, but I'm not going to complain about this one. The co-op seemed to be the least interesting feature of the game.
Just started Far Cry 3 today, loving it so far.
Whoa! The PS3 is getting some exclusive love.
Typical console ports.
As a multi platform game it should mean multi platform DLC also. These exclusives drive me nuts.
Another game I will not buy. I do not use DLC unless it is some disc format GOTY edition.
*facepalms* DLC is already corrupted. EXCLUSIVE DLC is even more bad!!! Ugh... I'm getting tired of this.
Sad face...oh well. Xbox will be getting something. I'm hoping future DLC provides more missions and whatnot.
I'd like to try the co-op missions but I doubt any of my Xbox Live friends will be getting Far Cry 3; not having this DLC isn't much of a loss then in my case.
