YES!!!!! I can't wait....I always love how Nintendo holds these, I always get so excited when I see Reggie Fils-Aime about to bust out something crazy that Nintendo fans have been clammoring for.

I assume this will be the announcement for the Yoshi game as well. I knew they were going to say something about it in December to garner some more steam for their system near the holidays.

Fingers crossed for something great....Metroid, Zelda, heck anything 1st Party really.

Are these typically as cheesy as their press conferences? Despite having no plans to buy either of those systems, I may tune in if purple Pikmin are involved.

I'm sure it'll just be a rundown of a bunch of stuff we already knew about. Though, it would be really nice to get a glimpse of what Retro and/or Monolith Soft are working on. Those are the two companies almost guaranteed to show off what the Wii U can really do.

I was wondering if Nintendo was the only gaming console maker that did these. Do Microsoft & Sony do them as well?

If they don't, I feel like Nintendo is doing a great job in getting the gaming community excited about Nintendo products and delivering something unique to their fans. It was awesome to watch Iwata open the Wii U. He looked genuinely excited about it too.

Hopefully they talk more about the upcoming 3DS titles! I'm having so much fun playing Paper Mario. Also, I hope they discuss how well the Wii U is doing.


EDIT: Oh wow! Just found out that the Wii U will release for Japan on Dec 8. Perhaps, this is to ramp up for that release date. It looks like they released the Wii U early in the states for Black Friday.

On another side note... so the numbers we've been seeing in sales were only for NA. The Wii U just released on Nov 30 for EU. And will release Dec 8 for Japan. I think it's going to do a lot better than we think.

I hope we get to see something about Shantae, whether it be a re-release or the new 3DS game.
