EA revealed the minimum, recommended, and hi-performance PC specifications for Crysis 3. Is your computer boss enough to run this game?

Minimum System Operating Requirements for PC:

  • Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8
  • DirectX 11 graphics card with 1Gb Video RAM
  • Dual core CPU
  • 2GB Memory (3GB on Vista)

- Example 1 (Nvidia/Intel):

  • Nvidia GTS 450
  • Intel Core2 Duo 2.4 Ghz (E6600)

- Example 2 (AMD):

  • AMD Radeon HD5770
  • AMD Athlon64 X2 2.7 Ghz (5200+)

Recommended System Operating Requirements for PC:

  • Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8
  • DirectX 11 graphics card with 1GB Video RAM
  • Quad core GPU
  • 4GB Memory

- Example 1 (Nvidia/Intel):

  • Nvidia GTX 560
  • Intel Core i3-530

- Example 2 (AMD):

  • AMD Radeon HD5870
  • AMD Phenom II X2 565

Hi-Performance PC Specifications:

  • Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8
  • Latest DirectX 11 graphics card
  • Latest quad core CPU
  • 8GB Memory

- Example 1 (Nvidia/Intel):

  • NVidia GTX 680
  • Intel Core i7-2600k

- Example 2 (AMD):

  • AMD Radeon HD7970
  • AMD Bulldozer FX4150

    My computer easily meets all the hi-performance requirements besides the graphics card. I run two though so perhaps that would make a difference... Maybe I'll just upgrade before this game comes out in February anyways.

    I'm glad to see my PC meets most of the hi-performance specs, but I was thinking about buying a GTX 680 once the new series hits next year to replace my existing 560 Ti.

    Yup, I can still run it above recommended, but just under HIGH.

    Slight error: Under Recommended System Operating Requirements, it says you need a "Quad Core GPU". I think that should be CPU. :)

    Have bows become a staple now in FPS games? Not that I'm complaining I like bows and it's a good way to silently kill someone, but it does leave a bit of obvious evidence :p

    Eh, my OC'd GTX670 should be good enough to Max out and still run fast enough. I meet the CPU and RAM requirements, so bring it on.

    Sigh, my computer will die if I even try to play this. I can play maybe on Mid... Currently play Blacklight: Retribution on near-max settings, so here's hoping.

    I'm glad games are now posting "Hi-Performance" specs as well, in addition to the standard minimum/recommended. Also glad to currently be within the current parameters for "Hi"

    Wow.  Those are some pretty hefty specs.
