The lights are on
Team Ninja's Yosuke Hayashi announced in a video today that Dead or Alive 5 is heading to the Vita early next year.
The video comes from IGN Pro League's YouTube channel, which you can see below. Hayashi also announced that the the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will be receiving a major patch next year, as well.

As a fan of the fighting genre, I'm really glad to see more fighting games coming the Vita way.
Its awesome that Team Ninja supports the Vita as much as it does! Other developers should take note.
Team Ninja is an overrated dev. DOA 5 is exemplary of that.
Why can't the Vita get any original games for it?
And original games that are actually decent?
I thought we wanted good games for the vita. haha.
Maybe if they combined DoA 5 with the Dimensions and released it on the Vita people would care.
They should make a Grand Theft Auto for the Vita, San Andreas Stories? LOL
woot gonna take my jiggles to the shower :D jkk
A fighting game with hot chicks, I like that!
So much for saving the Vita. . .
It's a nice addition to the Vita library, despite the number of people maliciously poking at it. Cross Play functionality would be neat, though.
Hayashi: " I am a pervert. LETS BE PERVY!!"
DOA fans: "YAAAAAAAYYY."
That's what he's saying. I'm just saying.
