The lights are on
Jason Graves, composer for the Dead Space series, is an expert at adding tension to already dire situations. His music punctuated Isaac Clarke’s horrifying journeys, and will now set the tone for Lara Croft’s new adventure.
Lara may not be battling space zombies in Tomb Raider, but like Isaac she’s desperately alone. Previews of the game have shown Lara go up against deranged survivors and deadly fauna. Graves’ Academy Award-winning talents are sure to make gaming’s leading lady new entry come to life.
Watch Crystal Dynamic’s video below to see Graves’ passion for the series, learn more about his methods, and see the instrument he invented specifically for the game in action. Be sure to check out our Tomb Raider hub for our complete coverage on the game from the magazine.

Dead Space is known or its atmosphere, so I'm sure Tomb Raider's will be well done.

EXCELENT! Jason Graves its the best composer ever!!!
It's nice to hear, and it wants me to get Tomb Raider even more knowing there's a fantastic composer behind it.
Dollars to doughnuts that Tomb Raider, somewhere down the road, WILL have a zombie mode I betcha. Every game is gonna have it. It's the future.
Jason is a cool guy. Have pleasure chatting with him from time to time. Check out his soundcloud if you in to cinematic music.
lol, Her ponytail.
I don't think scary violin noises will fit in a Tomb Raider game.
Thats good news Jason Grabes is a fantastic composer.
There was music for Dead Space?
Great! How am I supposed to finish the game now? Scary island filled with scary people with scary music? Guess I just go with it.
